Entries will close on Friday….. but there will be EOD. For some courses (3-6) the start times will be before 11.00 and after 11.50.

Harrop Tarn is classic Lake District open fell with a complex piece of woodland. Access is restricted to use once in five years. So…. the opportunity is not to be missed. The map has been specially updated for this event by Martin Bagness (in late 2006).

Harrop Tarn is high up above Thirlmere Lake. Parking in this remote area is limited, but with the kind permission of the local farmer we have adequate space. Access to the area does involve a walk (1.5km) and climb (130m).

There will be a Short Race on the Saturday to go with this regional event. This Short Race will be part of a three race series being run in conjunction with the SROC National (11/03/07) and the LOC National (20/05/07). The event will be at Baysbrown Wood, Langdale (GR314050). When entering, use the ‘note’ facility to indicate a preferred start time block. Start times will be allocated, and added to the competitor listing by the entries secretary.
